Wolky Jewel sandals

Dutch brand Wolky have been designing and manufacturing sandals since the late 1980s.  Their Jewel ladies’ sandal has become iconic, with a large following of very happy customers having extremely comfortable feet! 

It’s a combination of factors that make Jewel such a successful style.  Thanks to the adjustability of the straps, a perfect fit can be achieved for many different foot shapes and widths.  The uppers are premium leather and come in a variety of colours, from classic black to on-trend colours & finishes; they are durable and soft to the touch.

The uppers are also lined with premium leather, which allows the feet to breathe and absorbs perspiration. 

Wolky’s removable footbeds are a rare find in sandals.  They are also leather covered, providing a comfortable environment for your feet.  The body of the footbed is anatomically-shaped natural cork, so that your feet are well-supported.  A layer of memory foam adds cushioning to keep your feet happy.  Should you manage to wear out the footbeds, replacement pairs are available allowing to wear your sandals in comfort for longer.  Or, if you have your own orthotic insoles you can remove the Wolky footbed and replace with yours, allowing you to wear sandals during the warmer weather.

When you wear Jewel sandals your feet are really secure, there’s no clawing of toes or feet sliding around - so you can keep walking comfortably all summer long.

Another benefit of the adjustable straps will be discovered during spells of hot weather – if your feet tend to swell you can simply let the straps out a little, avoiding them becoming too tight and uncomfortable and also preventing the leather straps from stretching.

Now a brief note about sizing!  We have found that although wide fitting, Jewel is not generous in length.  So if you are a half size you are likely to go up a size, not down.  Your heels & toes should be on the footbed, not touching the rim of the sole.
