Our bumblebees are in trouble!
The UK had 27 species, but sadly three of these are already extinct and many more are threatened.
In fact only six species remain common and widespread. As hugely important pollinators of crops and wildflowers, bumblebees are a conservation priority.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established in May 2006 to try and improve matters through conservation and education.
